Duration: Six Weeks
Location: Gainesville, Florida
The new Shands Healthcare Cancer Hospital (University of Florida) will soon have a state-of-the-art Energy Center to supply critical utilities to the Hospital. The Midwest Team is utilizing our Structural Steel Design Assist project delivery approach to manage the fabrication, detailing, and erection of this source of energy for the new Cancer Center.
We are providing a real time 3D structural model that details the structural frame, and integrating the new equipment into the design, eliminating clashes between the mechanical, electrical, fireproofing and other equipment in the building.
The new Energy Center will provide state-of-the-art technology for:
- The Highest Heat Rate Efficiency
- Low Emissions
- Grid Interconnect
- An Integrated Controls System
The new South Energy Center will play an important role in providing reliable energy with reduced emissions to the new Cancer Hospital.
