Ford Dearborn Stamping Plant - Roof Jacking
Size: 2,000 Tons
Duration: Twelve Months
Location: Dearborn, Michigan
The most challenging projects require the most talented and experienced contractors. Midwest Steel was selected to raise the roof of Ford Motor Company's Dearborn Stamping plant while simultaneously building a new structure inside the facility. This project was necessary to allow for the installation of four new and very large presses that were too large for the existing facility. Midwest Steel had to make extensive connections of new steel to the existing structure while also working in very tight quarters with minimal laydown area for new steel.
We were very proud to have successfully completed this exciting and challenging project while once again demonstrating our ability to handle the most challenging structural steel projects.
